Scrappy Polymer Clay Beads Tutorial
So after the Faux Ammolite Tutorial you all wanted to know
what I would do with the scraps that were left. Well, this is what I came up
with. It’s very similar to my Squish and Squash technique and works with any
leftover scraps from veneers.
I also show what to do with leftover metal leaf
fragments by applying them to clay and using a silkscreen to create an almost
animal print effect.
This project is easy, forgiving and can be done with just about any
scraps you have.
You will need the following supplies:
- Metal leaf scraps
- A tissue blade
- A pasta machine
- An acrylic roller
- An oven
- A craft knife
- Black stazon ink
- Pebble stencil
- Black polymer clay
- Sandpaper
- Black Sculpey liquid clay
- Magic gloss resin
- A pin drill
- Accu-flex
- Silver clasp, jumpring, crimps, charlotte crimps
- Pliers
