There are lots of cool polymer clay creations that you can use to decorate your home. Bowls, wall art, coasters and vases to name but a few. On this page you will find polymer clay tutorials teaching you how to make all of these and more.
Home decor is such fun to make. You can combine techniques and textures in a way that is often restricted when making smaller jewelry pieces, so let your imagination take over and get claying!
In this tutorial I'll be showing you how to make a polymer clay bowl using leaves from your garden and a few alcohol inks.
I'll
show you three different color variations using the same technique. You
can come up with your own unique design to match the decor in your
house. Try the project with different sizes and shapes of leaves, vary
the background texture and change up the colors to create beautiful
polymer clay bowls that you can use all around the house.
In this tutorial we will be making a polymer clay coaster using
pastels and a simple texturing technique to create the veneer. This
technique is one of my favorites because it is just so simple but so
effective.
In this polymer clay creation, the pebble pattern of the stamp
gives the effect of stone, but you can vary the colors and textures to
create many different interesting results.
In this tutorial we will be making a polymer clay coaster using a cool
mosaic effect. I'll be showing you how to get a tendril effect using
Vintaj Patina Inks and then how to turn that into a mosaic to mimic ice
fractures floating on a river.
You can make this coaster in any shape or size you like. You can turn it
into a wall plaque or a pendant. You can also leave out the mosaic
effect and just make something using the Vintaj Patina Ink pattern. You
can try different colors too. Have fun and see what you can come up
with.
In this tutorial I’ll show you how to create Faux Abalone with polymer clay.
It’s a technique that can be manipulated to create many other faux shells which
I’ll be showing in future.
Today I’ll show you how to create a bowl, but you can
use the effect on pendants, collars, bracelets and many other projects.
In this faux stained porcelain project we'll make five easy ring dishes from polymer clay.
You can use any texture stamp you want along with some colorful alcohol inks to create easy and yet stunning bowls.
They make great gifts and are perfect pieces to sell at a market. So gather up your inks and textures and let's make some bowls.
Home decor is a great way to display your polymer clay art, and you really are only limited by your imagination, so these polymer clay creations are loads of fun to make. There will be lots more home decor projects being posted over the next few months so watch out for those.
